I’ve been pouring wine since before I was old enough to drink it. Growing up in my father’s wine bar, I absorbed the rhythms of hospitality and the language of wine almost by osmosis. At the time, it was simply what my dad did, and I was there, helping out, listening, learning without even realizing it.
The moment everything changed came years later, during a visit to one of Argentina’s great wineries in Mendoza. Surrounded by the snow-capped Andes and tasting bold, expressive Malbecs, something clicked. It wasn’t just the wine or the setting—it was the energy. A group of strangers connecting effortlessly, sharing stories, laughing, and bonding over a shared love of wine. I felt part of something genuinely meaningful.
That feeling stayed with me. I knew I wanted to recreate it for others.
Uncorked Vines was born from that idea: bringing people together around the table, telling the stories behind the glass, and sharing Spanish wine and food with warmth, care, and authenticity. Barcelona’s rich food and wine culture inspires me every day, and I believe the best memories are made slowly, over honest flavors, great company and, of course, outstanding wines.
At Uncorked Vines, everything begins with place.
Barcelona’s food culture isn’t built on trends, it’s shaped by history, geography, and a strong sense of identity. Catalan cuisine is seasonal, ingredient-driven, and deeply rooted in tradition, yet constantly evolving.
Our role is to give that context.
Not through a lecture, but through the experience itself, a glass poured at the right moment, a dish that reflects the neighborhood, a story that connects both.
Each stop is chosen to reflect a different side of the city: the old and the new, the traditional and the contemporary, the familiar and the unexpected.
We keep our groups small so this can unfold naturally, with space for conversation, curiosity, and a pace that feels more like an evening out than a guided tour.
What we offer is not just food and wine, but a perspective on Barcelona,
one that stays with you long after the last glass.
